Our home is fully air-conditioned giving a cool refreshing welcome when you open the door and is very spacious offering over 2000 square foot of living space. Our villa is on a quiet road in the prestigious Lindfields Estate only 3.5 miles (10 minute drive) to Walt Disney World. We have a 30ft private, south facing, heated pool. A fantastic games room with full size professional pool table, electronic darts game and electronic basketball game. Two spacious lounges. Close to Champions Gate, Mystic Dunes and many other fine golf courses. Near to all the attractions, restaurants and shopping. There is a local Walmart. Why be stuck in traffic jams like other holidaymakers? Be close to all the action at our Disney Rental Villa. When those Theme Parks get too much you can pop back for a lovely dip in the pool!

Changeover Day

Our preferred changeover day is Saturday. We can be flexible though as we understand you can get cheaper flights on weekdays. Check in time is 4pm. Check out time is 10am.

Accommodation

Bedrooms: Master bedroom with Queen size (this is larger than a UK King Size) maple bed.
2nd bedroom with King size bed and light oak furnishings.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds.
Bedroom 4 with twin beds and a Mickey Mouse theme.

Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to master bedroom with bath, double shower, WC and 2 wash basins.
Family bathroom with bath, separate shower, vanity unit and WC.

Kitchen: Fully equipped, fridge, freezer with ice making, cooker, dishwasher, microwave and garbage disposal.

Utility Room: Separate utility with washer and dryer.

Living Rooms: Two spacious lounges. The family room with cable TV and Hi-Fi system. Another lounge for reading and relaxing! There are 2 pull out sofa beds so you could sleep on those if the 4 bedrooms weren’t enough!

Other: Separate dining room

Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Professionally managed. There is a cleaning charge for stays of less than 7 nights. Linen and towels (including towels for use around the pool) are provided. If you would like an extra clean, you can request this at extra charge from the management company.

Accessibility
All one one level so great for families and older guests.

Outside
Garden and 30ft private, south facing, heated pool. Poolside sun beds are provided along with outdoor dining suite for those meals alfresco.

Coast/Beach
It is approx 75 miles to the nearest beach, Cocoa beach to the North of which is the renowned Kennedy Space Centre. The famous Daytona beach is a little further away on the East Coast. While there is the famous Salvidor Dali Museum and a gorgeous number of beaches on the West Coast, approx an hour and a half away.

There are many championship golf courses within a 30 min drive of our villa:
3.9 miles to Mystic Dunes Golf Course.
9.5 miles to Celebration Golf Course.
2.5 miles to Orange Lake Golf and Country Club.
6.7 miles to Highlands Reserve.

Approximately 13 miles to Disney’s Magnolia Course.
Approximately 13 miles to Disneys Palm Course.
Approximately 13 miles to Disney’s Eagle Pines Course.
Approximately 13 miles to Disney’s Osprey Ridge Course.
6.2 miles to Champions Gate.

Getting there
Orlando International airport is 27.9 miles away from our villa or about 38 mins drive. We send you directions and you can see on a map just how close our villa is to everthing by clicking here.

Distances
Walt Disney World is 4 miles or 10 mins away from our villa. Seaworld, Epcot and all the other Parks are very close also.

Further details
There are plenty of shops, a Walmart and restaurants along the 192, which our villa is directly off of.

Professional tree removal Kissimmee

Then they were gone!

We had to get two trees removed at our property and one other professional pruned as we have had no end of problems with the roots getting into the water pipes and irrigation system and causing water leaks. Here are the before and after photos. I can wholeheartedly recommend Arbor Vision who carried out the work!

When I go out in October I am hoping to do some more planting (not of trees!) with hardy tropical plants, such as Bougainvillea. It looks a bit odd to me as I am so used to seeing the trees. I have also been recommended a gardener who I hope to meet, in order to get our garden cared for in future, rather than just the lawn cut!

Swine Flu Travel Insurance

My travel insurance needed renewal. I buy annual cover as I find it works out cheaper to cover my family than single trip insurance. Particularly as I am planning a short weekend away and later in the year travel to Florida. Due to the recent outbreak of Swine Flu I also wanted to make sure that our travel insurance was going to cover us properly.

I compared insurers on moneysupermarket.com and gocompare.com

Then I phoned the top competitive travel insurance companies and asked the question “Do you cover the latest swine flu issue?”.

Although Atlas were not the very cheapest, they offered the most secure level of cover and cover us for swine flu.

So I have signed up for Atlas Travel Insurance as they are the best Swine Flu Travel Insurance I could find!

If you are looking for a luxury Lindfields Villa you have come to the right place! If you want to be close to Disney (only 3.5 miles to the main gate), close to restaurants, shopping and other parks and all the action. Had a hectic day at the Orlando Tourist Attractions? You will be able to pop back to the villa for a cooling dip or a nap and head back out to enjoy a meal, the fireworks and parades.

Just off the 192 a lindfields villa is the best option for the peace and tranquility of a quiet residential neighbourhood, with fast access to everything you need. A Walmart is really close - so is Publix. Best of all an Olive Garden is opening close by in March this year (2009). If you haven’t experienced the tasty Italian family friendly restaurant you need to add it to your “must do” list.

V Room

At Gatwick Airport there is a special room for Virgin Holiday customers, at a cost of £15 per adult and £10 per child, infants go free, away from the hustle and bustle of the departure lounge with a games room, computer with internet access, lots of drink (not alcohol) and food, so a lovely chilled way to pass your time at the airport before jetting off. There is a limit on numbers allowed into the V Room at any one time.

What if you aren’t a Virgin Holidays customer?

There is a loophole at the moment so that if you book park tickets, for example your Disney or Seaworld tickets, through Virgin Holidays you can then ring to get V Room added.

UPDATE: V ROOM adult price will increase from £15 to £17 for travel from 01 March 2009

VROOM SALE: for a limited time entry the cost is £10 per adult, valid only for January and February 2009 departures.

Disney Rental Strollers

When visiting Disney themes parks and other Orlando Tourist Attractions there is a huge amount of walking to do and with young children we have always hired a double Disney Rental Stroller. Ideal for when they get too tired - so you don’t have to carry them, they can leap in and keep out the sun, have a drink and a snack before the next tiring round of queuing.

Imagine my horror when I found out that Disney have replaced the double stroller for shiny new SMALLER ones! They look so small, I’m not sure if my two will squish in. Here is a photo of the new Disney Rental Strollers.

At $31 or $27 for length of stay (where you bypass the queue at other parks and show your prepaid receipt) it soon adds up…

Maybe someone should open a Disney Rental business with these fantastic bike trailers, that you can collapse easily, push easily and easily get two children in:-
